On Causes And Countermeasures Of Functions-Weakening Of College Counselors' Ideological And Political Education

College Counselors play an important role in college students' Ideological and political education which the general teachers and administrators cannot. To develop the study of College Counselors' Ideological and political education functions is of great significance to guarantee the orientation of the socialist higher education and the development of college students. Current world and contemporary China is undergoing extensive and profound changes which has influenced university students' Ideological and political education, and has raised new requirement to college counselor. The article points out that in the new period of practical work, the University Counselors' Ideological and political education work function is weakened because ideological and political education environment becomes more and more complex, and counselor team construction is not perfect as well as college students themselves so as not to meet the needs of the country, society and University students. On the basis of theoretical study and years of counselors work experience, the writer put forward countermeasures to enhance college counselors' Ideological and political education.
