| Economic development is inseparable from the development of education, especially of higher education, in the 21st century the era of a knowledge explosion. At present, giving full play to the teacher's subjective initiative and making them carry out work creatively have become the focus of the manager of universities and colleges. It is especially important of building up effective incentive mechanism and using it to improve the subjective initiative, enthusiasm and innovation of them. As we known, there were many universities and research institutions already made a lot of discussion of staff motivation in the knowledge level. Besides all, they also continue to explore at the practical level and also build a corresponding mechanism to apply it. Located in the central part of China, backward economy hampered the development of education in the Shanxi province. There are still many limitations of the management of incentive mechanism, and many issues need further discussion such as superficial and incomprehensive understanding of the Specific sociability, optimality, wholeness, timeliness, continuity of motivations.To address this series of practical problems, this paper chose university teachers in Shanxi Province as the research objects. Try to get the way to improve the Core competencies of institution of higher education in Shanxi province through the investigation of this group.Introduction the chapter one this paper describes the research background and content, makes a systematic presentation of related study of incentive mechanism home and abroad and also point out the inventiveness and Insufficient of this paper. Chapter two reviews the definition and theory of incentive mechanism concept associated. Chapter three analyzes characteristics of college teachers in Shanxi province. It makes a description of the current situation of college education, the overall quality of college teachers and an overview of incentives mechanism of college in Shanxi province. Chapter four makes a comprehensive discussion of the problems existed in the incentive mechanism of college in Shanxi province. It is the most important part of this paper, in which takes eight typical colleges such as Shanxi University, Taiyuan University of Technology, Shanxi University of Finance as samples and find the problem existed in the incentive mechanism of college teacher in Shanxi province through questionnaires, Interviews, visits to relevant departments, etc..Chapter five presents countermeasures and suggestions to make further improvement of the incentive mechanism for college teachers in Shanxi province as for the question found in the investigation. |
