To explore the Southeast Asian Chinese teachers'Chinese culture identity and the view about teacher's role, and how the former influences on the latter, this study developed "The Questionnaire of Southeast Asian Chinese teacher's Chinese culture identity" and "The Questionnaire of Southeast Asian Chinese teacher's view about teacher's role" to do the following investigation and analysis. The research indicates that:(1) In general, the score in Chinese culture identity is high, embodied chiefly in the way or style of verbal communication. (2) The score in the view about teacher's role is generally high, the most important role is verbal demonstration and Chinese teaching. (3) Age is not an important effect factor, but a tendency that the young teachers'Chinese culture identity is weakening. (4) Educational background is an important effect factor on the both two concept, the score of College Graduate teacher is significantly higher than others. (5) The score increases with the teaching experience rises, especially in the role of verbal demonstration and Chinese teaching which exists significant difference, indicating that the Chinese teacher who has more teaching experience emphasizes the teaching of language knowledge. (6) The Chinese culture identity can predict the view about teacher's role, "live style and social contact" is the most important factor.
