With the deepening socio-political and economic reform in China has become increasingly, educational reform also in full swing, including the pupils participate in private tutoring with an increasingly early age particularly noticeable. In the city, the number of pupils participate in private tutoring and their training courses, time, difficulty and so on are increasing obviously. Currently the research on the topic of private tutoring in China is preliminary, and we have a general understanding and analysis of scale, intensity, causes, expenses and other information about private tutoring. But the study on pupils who participate in private tutoring and their parents is hard to see. According to the reasons above,from the two views of the city's students and their parents, under the larger context of social transformation and social stratification, the author try to study the private tutoring with the theory of conformity.Using many methods such as literature analysis, deep interview and so on,this paper makes profound analysis and investigation about private tutoring through by a representative of the seven city's pupils and the seven parents. The study shows that:For pupils, with the increasing of the number and full participation trends, the pupils participate in private tutoring with an increasingly early age; the main cultural subjects of primary stage are Chinese, mathematics and English, and almost every city's pupils have participated in at least one art class; Under the pressure of early studies of small-liter, the students participate in private tutoring actively to improve academic performance in the competition.In daily life, more female parents like to accompany their children to participate in private tutoring. On the pursuit of achievement motivation and the impact of the community environment and social environment, female parents encourage their children to participate in private tutoring actively; with the purpose of the status of social class for the maintenance and promotion, urban households expect their children to get more economic capital and social capital through competitive advantage of more education capital and cultural capital.Study found that the strictly policy to prohibit private tutoring does not work, and the strictly policy can not solve many educational and social problems which the training brought, that is not a permanent cure. Therefore, when the government give supervision and guidance to the private training, they should focus on the integration of public education resources and continue to meet the growing domestic demand of educational resources to forbid the proliferation of private tutoring. The "extra-curricular school" education which South Korean government promote can provide a useful reference to our government.
