Research On Modes Of Chinese University Technology Transfer Based On The Perspective Of Knowledge

With the world entering into the 21st century, the world economy is growing in the fast lane of the knowledge economy. The traditional economic growth model which relies on capital and labor to increase the economy's development, could no longer fit into the objective requirements of economic development. Technology, an important element begins to play a key role in the economy development. Many countries have increased the investment in technology innovation, hoping to achieve the domestic economy restructure.China has also proposed to change the economy development mode and the strategy to build the innovation country. To achieve the transformation of economy development, we must upgrade the manufacturing industry in china. The only way to achieve that goal is the innovation of technology. The universities in china occupy an important position in National Innovation System and play the huge role. The universities have rich academic resources and research facilities. The researchers in universities have wide experience and reasonable age structure. And they have a strong research and innovation strength.The reality in china is that a large number of research and new technologies fail to achieve the commercial development, and don't enter the production area. It has a certain relationship with Situation of our country, and a closer relationship with the job of university's technology transfer. Since opening up of china, the foreign investment policy is weighted too heavily toward capital, and to develop low-end manufacture industry, for solving the employment problem. And it leads to lack of awareness of the importance of technology. The government starts the laws and policies of intellectual property and technology market late, and develops slowly. That affects the efficiency and effectiveness of university technology transfer in some degree.On the other hand, the strategy of"market for technology"which our government put into practice in the long term fails, and it leads to our enterprises giving up own research capacity building. Meanwhile, the company has not obtained advanced technologies. On one hand, it is because of the multinational companies'strategy of technology transfer. On the other hand, it dues to that we don't realize the nature of technology transfer, which is knowledge transfer. And the objective law of growth of knowledge is ignored. Therefore, the research on nature of university technology transfer will help to enhance the improvement of technical capacity in universities and enterprises. It also helps to improve the effectiveness of technology transfer, and to accelerate the restructure of economy in china.This paper classifies the modes of university technology transfer. And under this classification, the process of technology transfer is described. In this paper, the process is analyzed by using the SECI model and the knowledge fermentation theory. And it streamlines the process and the law in knowledge transfer process. At last, it analyzes some cases for validating the theory.
