When people pay more attention to green IT, Watson has proposed the concept of green information system: it means the design and application of IS to promote sustainable business operations. Green IS integrates the sustainable development and information systems, which promote the organization to improve resource utilization, reduce energy consumption, waste, reduce costs and improve profitability. How IT and IS improve energy efficiency, so as to realize the sustainable development of energy and environment. If energy and environmental problems linked to the IS, a new subfield will be proposed - Energy Informatics.Energy Informatics is concerned with analyzing, designing, and implementing systems to increase the efficiency of energy demand and supply systems. Its core idea:Energy + Information < Energy. This requires collection and analysis of energy data sets to reduce energy consumption and achieve environmental and social sustainable development. Energy sources management information system on sustainable development through monitor and collect the real-time device information of the flow networks, sensor networks, sensitized objects, transmit to data center, the data center consolidates and analyses real-time data then provide warning for managers. The paper is on the basis of collecting, organizing and analyzing the relevant materials to figure out the problems existing in the university resource management as well as to propose the feasibility of four big resources-saving. According to the feasibility, the paper analyzes and designs the management information system of university resource.Implementation of the system can further improve the management level and quality of management, the college process to minimize energy consumption in a variety of waste, improve energy efficiency and reduce the university operating costs, enhance the strength of university education, improve efficiency, and ultimately conserve resources, protect the environment.
