In the 21st century, with the progress of the society, the world is undergoing profound changes. Political multi-polarization, economic globalization and cultural plurality have challenged college moral education. There are great changes in the environment, the task, the content, the subject and the method of moral education. Therefore, a significant problem of moral education is how moral educators adapt to these changes, understand new condition, explore new problems and grasp new features so as to keep pace with the time. College moral education is facing up with different international and domestic environment while the world is turning from the pursuit of materialization to individuality. Based on the reflection on the traditional moral education, the thesis proposes the individuality of moral education by means of empirical research, which is to meet the practical demands and has deep theoretical foundation.The individuality of college moral education should respect man's nature and aim to fully meet man's need, develop man's potential and promote overall personality development in the process of education. It suggests that the individuality of college moral education is a process on the basis of college students'physical and psychological characteristics and the human-oriented principle. It shows respect to the development rule of college students'individuality and attaches importance to the dialectical unity of college students'all-round development and personality development.The individuality of college moral education is the requirement of human nature and in line with the essence of moral education. The key to the practice and the construction of the individuality of moral education is to establish the human-oriented moral education view, care for the understanding of individual students, and promote the exchange and the mutual understanding between educators and students to create democratic atmosphere and nice teaching environment. Educators then should guide their students to understand the relationship between themselves and the world, and the value of the spirit in order to promote the spiritual development of individual student and to achieve the effectiveness of moral education. The individuality of college moral education should respect students.
