The teacher's authority is an eternal research topic of pedagogy, there are also many differences. This paper will be focusing on that based on the research of others, taking the teacher and the learner as standpoints, study the existence condition of teacher's authority in the learning community and discuss the ideal way of the teacher's authority harmonious existence in the learning community from the theory and practice aspects.School as a place to train people, are a part of society, necessarily requires the existence of the authority. In this paper, learning community is based on the background of the school; take the teacher and the learner as the main body, in such a situation, the authority of teachers whether exists reasonable in learning community? The author analyzed the necessity of the teacher authority exists in the learning community from four aspects of to maintain order of the learning community, to promote the learning community prospect realization, to form the reasonable relationship of teachers and learners and to promote the growth of teachers; and analyzed the possibility of the teacher authority exists in the learning community from four aspects of traditional culture, characteristics of the learners, the authority of teachers to reshape their own and education laws.In theory, having no authoritative in learning community is unimaginable; it possibly moves toward the disorder and trends to collapse finally. However, with the development of society, people's pursuit of freedom, equality and democracy is increasingly enthusiastic, the authority of teachers faced with tremendous pressure. Especially in the learning community rising of the educational field, it advocate educational ideas of giving a sense of belonging and a sense of security to the learner, sharing and interaction of the learning process, the heterogeneity of learners and to promote study is the common prospect, this will undoubtedly have a greater influence and challenges for teacher's statutory authority, traditional authority, knowledge, authority and appeal authority. In addition, the teacher cannot grasp clearly the idea about learning community; making authority of teachers is very difficult to exist in the learning community.Face many challenges and difficulties, the authority of teachers in the learning community should be going? The author thinks that the authority of teachers in the learning community should be that to promote learning for the purpose, in the relation of equality but not coordinated, symbiosis with the learners free, a unified of acceptability authority and the legitimate authority, implicit and uncertain through to theory and practice assurance. If we want to reconstruct the authority of teachers in the learning community, we not only need the states authorize effectively for teachers, providing external support for reconstruction of authority of teachers, but also need the teacher having the science cognition strength, the profound knowledge strength as well as the noble moral inspirational force, providing internal support for reconstruction of authority of teachers. Only the authority of teachers that reconstruct in this way can achieve the common vision of the learning community, can ultimately promote learners healthy development.
