With the yearly decreasing of the enrollment of primary school students in China, and the wish of people for high-quality education and individualized learning becoming eager and eager, the higher requirements are needed for modern society to the basic education. In this social background small-scale class education is advent. As the form of the education organization has been changed from large-scale class to small-scale class, the education activities are carried out in class with fewer students.The ways of the education activities would be varied and behaviors of the principle part for class management are varied too. Then all kinds of the relationships in the class are changed a lot. To know thoroughly the variations of the class management, will do help to the teachers putting more attention on promotion of the student's principle position, and effectively promote the educational idea of the teachers, and make the teacher's behaviors of small-scale education have more flexibility and pertinence. Then the full and individualized developments for every student are realized, great changes are happened on the student's living situation and the realization of the education for all-round development is put forward. So it is extremely important to study the effective measures of the management for small-scale class and guarantee every student with better development.In the first part, the study background of this thesis and cause of the problem are discussed firstly. Then the concepts of the small classes, small-scale class education, and the class management are defined. Then theoretical and practical researches on small-scale class education in oversea and domestic countries are overviewed. And then the contents and the significances of this research are pointed out Finally methods used in this research are described.In the second part the case school is used as an example, the overall situation of the small-scale class education is introduced. The investigations and interviews on the small-scale class management of the case school are carried out. By analyzing the listed table, the successful effects of the case school on small-scale class management are pointed out.In the third part, the problems of small-scale class management existed in the case school are presented. The causes of the existed problems are pointed out from aspects of thesociety, the school and the teachers. In the fourth part, based on the analysis of the problems existed in the management and causes for these problems, the suggestions for the small-scale class management are presented, which may do to promote the small-scale class management for small-class head-teachers.
