The Research On Small-scale-class Teaching

Great numbers of qualified personal have been sent to the Industrial Revolution since Class-Teaching System was widely spread out. It has played a crucial role in promoting the quality of the human beings and profoundly affected modern education. Today it is still accepted worldwide and has been the elementary teaching-organizing form in schools so far because of its own superiority. However, the limitations have been got to be known gradually with its own development. Class scale is an important factor connected with the teaching quality. The limitations are more clearly seen in big-scale class. Thus, small-class teaching is a further development for the Class-Teaching System.By consulting and studying the information of educational research on small-class teaching in the world, the author had a deep thought on the small-class teaching. What's more the author analyzed and summarized the limitations of big-class teaching as well as advantages of small-class reaching. She also outlined western educational reform on small-class teaching. This thesis takes the educational experiment of small-class teaching in Wuhan Qingshan Shihua School. After analyzing the effects of the experiment and remaining problems, the author gave some suggestions on the education of the small-scale class.Three parts are divided in the thesis:Chapter 1: Significance and limitation of the class-scale. It outlined the research of class-scale, limitations of big-scale-class teaching and modern research about it in the world.Chapter 2: Educational experiment of small-class teaching in Wuhan Qingshan Shihua School, it summed up the processes of the experiment, analyzed the effects and remaining problems of the experiment.Chapter 3: The suggestions and analysis on small-class education. It analyzed and summarized the forms of education, the guidelines and methods of teaching. Also, it has the suggestions on small-scale-class education.
