Biological experiments are important basis for biological sciences, and for junior middle school students, learning biological experiments and research has a great significance, which is also highlighted in "Curriculum Standards".Strengthening and improving the junior high school teaching and enhancing its effectiveness have become an important issue that majority of the new biology curriculum reform educators have to face. I referred relevant issues, the main document analysis, theory and case studies to explore the combination of research methods, teaching theory and effective teaching about the theory of experimental learning and research.On the basis of theory analysis, the author of "teaching junior high school biology experiment questionnaire", the use of questionnaires, interviews and case investigation of Changzhou City, three different levels of junior secondary school students a more comprehensive investigation, obtained carried out a comparative analysis and empirical research. Survey found that:the current status and experimental teaching junior high school biology teaching the new curriculum there is still a gap between the objectives, such as experimental equipment still exists to some extent the lack of biological experiments commenced the low rate of development of students is still limited to basic knowledge and skills, knowledge of biological experiments students stay on the surface, students explore the ability of scientific literacy and the cultivation of a single and so on.By surveying the status of teaching junior high school biology experiment in Changzhou, I further explore a number of junior high school biology experiment and effective teaching strategies, including: improved demonstration, control demonstration teaching; organize students to experiment, actively self-involvement; guide scientific inquiry, inquisitiveness capacity; try to Model to foster innovative thinking; selection of school-based experiments to improve the scientific quality, so as to better carry out the future of teaching junior high school biology experiment provides some reform ideas, teaching methods and operational strategies.Conclusions of the biological experiments:(1) They enhance the students' skills to grasp the basic knowledge of the experiment.(2)They improve the students'operational capability of biological experiments. (3) They develop the students'ability to explore and improve the scientific literacy of biology students.
