With the rapid development of technology, we are facing the tremendous opportunities and challenges in today's open world. So we need our social individuals to possess the concept of practical philosophy and practical ability to meet the fierce competition. With the problem of how to adapt to the demand of the technology and science innovation, and how to improve people's ideological and political quality and social life ability, we specially put forward new and higher requirements on our high school students, because their minds are forming the world outlook, outlook on life and values. According to the requirements of social development, national outline for medium and long-term education reform & development program and the new regulation to the high school political lesson's properties in new curriculum book, we were required to "lead high school students to combine with the economic, political and cultural life, learning how to make inquiry and practice social activities...and improve the ability to participate modern social life. Therefore, the teaching goal of high school political lesson must notice the development of students'social and practical ability. And how to achieve this ability is our mainly target in our present teaching content. In the guidance of this teaching target, This article is engaged in the research of the new teaching method in high school political lesson. Obviously, the traditional teaching method cannot meet the target requirements in improving the high school students'social life ability. Therefore, we have to change and complete high school political lesson's teaching method, and teach students how to achieve new knowledge and social ability from exploration, communication and cooperation. Under the background of new course standard, this study raises a goal in improving high school students'social life ability and exploring the new teaching method, so that it can enrich the thought and content of teaching system. Moreover, it has certain theoretical reference value to improve high school students' social life ability. According to the characteristics of high school political lesson and the unique personality of high school students, combined with the writer's teaching experience in middle school, this paper searches for a feasible and practical teaching method to enhance the high school students' social life ability.It makes a thorough analysis from national outline for medium and long-term education reform & development program, and also from new curriculum book's teaching idea, teaching content, teaching goal, teaching requirements and high school students'unique character. Secondly, this article analyzes some features of high school lesson's teaching method on how to enhance high school students'social life ability. These features mainly include:autonomy, inspiration, cooperation, practicality and openness, etc. At last, this paper will point out the defects of traditional teaching methods and it mainly manifested in the following aspects:neglect of students' subjective role, lack of communication and cooperation between students, more emphasis on teaching knowledge, shortage of analysis and judgement ability, and deficiency in questioning and cultivation. Therefore, this paper will put more efforts on searching a practical teaching method to improve high school students' social life ability.This thesis focuses on finding out a practical teaching method, which helps high school students to improve their social life ability:one is to give full play to students' subjective action and improve the ability of independent learning in the class. Secondly, we have to establish a democratic, equal and harmonious relationship between teachers and students. Thirdly, we have to trust students, rely on them, and let them actively participate all kinds of teaching activities, so that they can improve the capability of self-learning and learn more knowledge. Furthermore, this is a good chance to strength their cooperation and communication ability. During the teaching process, teachers have to be good at organizing students on how to discuss and solve problems through the cooperation between teachers and students, students and students. At last, learning how to analyze cases is the key point to increase analysis ability.We should follow three-closing principles when choosing the cases. That is:"close to the students, close to the life and close to the realistic." Firstly, we need to encourage students to create questions and assume some doubts which give us some thinking. And encourage them to actively explore the answers to solve problems. In this way, the class will full of positive thinking atmosphere, then it can stimulate students'positive learning state and the spirit of skepticism,. Consequently, the students' independent learning skill and innovation ability will have a further development. Finally, there are also some limitations in this paper's research and we need to do some more work to explore teaching mode in high school political lesson to enhance high school students'social life ability.This thesis comprehensively uses a varies of research methods such as the literature, the class example method, classroom observation, interview, questionnaire and so on. Combining with the middle school political discipline characteristics and their own teaching practice experiences, and from the two perspectives of theory and practice, it has conducted discussion on the political class teaching way to improve the high school students'social life ability. It just performs as a lead-in in the hope of providing some references to the high school politics teaching.As the research achievements about the high school politic lesson teaching are abundant, the biggest innovation of the paper lies in the novelty of the research perspectives and the focus on the target of how to improve the high school students'social life ability. By aiming at the political teaching research of improving the high school students'social life ability and combining the characteristics of this subject and my own teaching experiences, it has proposed feasible measures according to the requirement of lesson reform..
