On The College Campus Culture Of Jilin Province In A Perspective Of Cultural Anthropology

The advent of the information age for higher education brings a good opportunity to-develop higher education with its scale unceasingly expanding and the school system diversifying, which produces a great impact on the internal and external environment of higher education in college professors, students and staff, which results in asoorted campus cultures, and consequently more results in culture phenomenon manifestation, characteristic qualities, elements and factors and the levels and structures, all of which will lead to optimistic and passive results. These results will not relate to the development in higher education but to the training strategy formulation and implementation. Hence, the topic of campus culture is focused to be the hot issue in academy. In recent years particularly, along with the globalization in the world and the opening up in China to a larger extent, the campus culture is resurging, containing its thinking, researching and practicing. The resurging finally shed light on the all educators in academy. However, there is still a long way to accomplish its development in theory and practice. Thus definitely, a scientific research that combined the regional culture with the campus culture is more reasonable to explore. The province of Ji Lin, as a great province in education, claiming its excellent higher education in scores of Universities like Yanbian University, which are famous in their scale, characteristics and personalities. In these universities, assorted cultures on campus established its own university highly different from others, amongst of which, there contain the forms, patterns and structures on campus culture in universities. In so far as the status quo mentioned above and the research we made in our work experiences, the paper develops its study in the methodology of cultural anthropology and produces the data from case questionnaires of Yanbian university, to further explore into its forms, patterns and its deep structure in a scientific and systematic way, so as to recognize its characteristics and its tendency in developing and finally if possible to develop its significance and law to conduct the practice on campus culture to re-examine the knowledge in our research and finally seek out the inner-relationship in order to formulate the effective methods to take reference to the campus culture in Ji Lin Province, theoretically and practically.
