Research On Contemporary Consumption Concept Between American College Students And Chinese College Students

Consumption is vital to people's practical activities, and it is one of the sections of social production, being human's final goal. Human's demand for consumption, consumption contents, consumption mode, consumption pattern are restrained not only by economic condition but social moral, traditional customs, consumption concept as well. The change will be reflected through consumption situation of college students'material and culture life, college students as a special group, whose consumption concept reflects the change of times. Under the background of globalization, this thesis researched the problems existing in college students'consumption, analyzed the subject consumption concept, consumption characteristics and reasons for the forming of consumption concept between Chinese and American students.On the basis of discussing the similarities and differentiation between Chinese students and American students, combining the present situation of college students in our country, bringing forth some feasible advice, Such as: the government should play the macro management, and guide students to the construction of healthy consumption; Family create microscopic atmosphere, promote the university students'correct consumption habit; School education, to solidify the theory of strengthening college students to know, scientific consumption College students'self management, in practice, set up reasonable consumption in China, reaching the goal of instructing the college students how to build up new concepts of consumption.
