Mr. Daoxi Li is one of the famous flower-and-bird painters who are regional representatives of Sichuan Province. He is also one of the founders of Jiazhou Painting Academy in Leshan Sichuan. During his life time, he has devoted himself to the art education in Sichuan and the development of the Jiazhou Painting Academy. After his death, more and more people have taken research on his paintings. Unfortunately, in Songxian Bridge Market of Chengdu, which is the biggest painting market in Sichuan, there are quantities of fake paintings, which would be discussed in one chapter of this paper. How great influence Mr. Daoxi Li has brought on Sichuan's painting. Unfortunately, there are so few researches on his painting style. In this paper, the painting style of Mr. Daoxi Li's flower-and-bird paintings would be mainly discussed, and the relationship between his painting style and others would also be discussed, in order to fill the gaps in the field of regional painting style of Mr. Daoxi Li's paintings and the relationship between his style and others.Quantities of materials have been collected and many paintings have been-studied. After that, the author has also visited Chengdu and Leshan in Sichuan where Mr. Li created his paintings. Mr. Li's wife named Miss Huazhong Qiao and Mr. Yaokui Li who is one of his students have also been interviewed. Good morals and skills, which is the suitable for evaluating Mr. Li, after visiting his home and listening to many people's words. In this paper, the relationship between paintings and anthropology, geography, psychology would be discuss.Refreshing, warm-heartedness, naturalness and elegant legitimism are the painting style of Mr. Li's flower-and-bird paintings. Through the study on his paintings, he not only paid attention to the painting quality, but also laid stress on the moral character. He was one of the most famous painters in Sichuan not only for his painting but also for his moral character. For this, through his paintings, we could see, his paintings were in harmony with the rest of the world and joyful leisure. We could feel the emotion of his paintings. And also, his paintings were a feast for the eyes. After inheriting the traditional Chinese painting style and studying on other painting style, Mr. Li develop his own painting styles include vivid color, traditional picture composition, traditional and modern design pattern. He not only inherited tradition but also merge region and age character while using painting brush and Chinese ink, which was the reason that region, age and nationality character of his paintings.In this paper, many parts of the reasons of his successful flower-and-bird painting style would be discussed. Firstly, the regional scene, natural environment and weather of Sichuan gave much origin to Mr. Li. There were many birds and animals in his paintings, for example, white engrave in E'Mei Mountain and silver pheasant in E'Mei Mountain, and so on. His flower-and-bird paintings reflected his moral character. The picturesque scene was expressed of his lenience, clemency and open-minded. His flower-and-bird painting style effected the development of Jiazhou Painting Academy which was founded by Mr. Qiongjiu, Li in1980. He was the main founder after Mr. Qiongjiu, Li. Now, the style of the two painters has also been in among the members of Jiazhou Painting Academy. It was another important thing discussed that the relationship Jiazhou group and other drawing group in China.In a word, the painting style of Mr. Daoxi, Li's flower-and-bird paintings was mainly discussed in this paper, and also the development of Jiazhou Painting Academy also been discussed.
