| The relation between the outward and the inward is the basic point of argument in philosophy field. From the foundation of this subject, the discussion about it has never ceased. In this research, we mainly focus on one essence of Buddhist theory—"the realm of neutralism beyond the inward and the outward", and then its aesthetic manifestation and significant are discussed in depth. The structure of this thesis can be divided into three parts:The world view and the view about object and subject in Buddhism are discussed in the first part. On one side, from the perspective of Buddhism, we discusses the conception of the outward and the inward, the necessity of surpassing the inward and the outward and the clarified state after that—he realm of Nirvana. On the other hand, from the angle of aesthetics, the sphere of aesthetics beyond the inward and the outward and the feelings of human-being under this realm are described in this part. The related findings are as follows:firstly, the aesthetic objective in Buddhism is a imagined reflection; secondly, human-being becomes vague and imagined in the field of Buddhism; thirdly, during aesthetic activities, the outward and the inward becomes harmonious, through which a combination of scene and feeling as well as an combining extent of heaven and people in one ("the realm of Nirvana" is reached. The second part can be classified into three sub-categorizations in which the methods of surpassing the outward and the inward and the state of thinkers who get command of this method are analyzed in details. Firstly, during the activities of surpassing the outward and the inward, the humidified aesthetic object and the purified aesthetic subject construct a harmonious and surpassed aesthetic realm. Secondly, when it demonstrates in the surpassing of time and space, the surpassing of the outward and the inward forms the ethereal realm, which manifests in the combination of object and subject with a virtual world full of poetic quality and Zen Buddhism. Finally, when both object and subject transcend time and space, logic and law, they will enter a harmonious aesthetic state that is a clarified Nirvana realm where the heaven and people combine into one.Through the analysis of the theory on transcending the outward and inward, some features of aesthetic points of views about the theory are concluded in the third part. From these features, we also gain some responding reflections and meaningful findings. By aesthetic approach of seeing the world beyond the outward and the inward, the process of molding of one's personal life and the aesthetic education for one country can bear some fruits. Not only is this aesthetic approach beneficial to the harmonization of human connection and communication between human-being and nature, it is also conducive to the perfection of personal characteristics and construction of a harmonious society. In a word, this theory about surpassing the outward and inward have some positive influences on many fields as well as the influences on Buddhism and aesthetics. Nowadays, the government of China is coordinating efforts to promote the moral construction and the building of a harmonious society. Under this current strategic situation, the aesthetic approach discussed in this study will also have some important practical significance. |
