Wamyoruijusho was written in Chengping Times in Heian,which is the earliest japonic encyclopedia in Japan. There are large numbers of Sinitic ancient philologic books materials in the explanation, including lots of lost books. Studying the wamyoruijusho and the referenced books can not only offer exegesis useful evidence, but also supply valuable materials for the collection of those books which lost in China. But there is not sufficient studying on the Wamyoruijusho in domestic academic circles.This paper study on the twenty volumes Wamyoruijusho, including five chapters and two appendices.The main structure of this thesis as follows:Chapter 1:This part summarized the author,the writing process,the version,the style and the value of Wamyoruijusho.Chapter 2:Use the Excel to calculate the numbers and types of the referenced books in Wamyoruijusho.Chapter 3:Compare the Shuo Wen Jie Zi(说文解字)quoted by Wamyoruijusho with current version of the Shuo Wen Jie Zi(说文解字),and analyze the differences between them. In this part we can find Wamyoruijusho can do great help for the interpretation and collation of ancient texts in China.Chapter 4:Use the quotation of Wen Zi Ji Lue(文字集略)in Wamyoruijusho to compile and annotate Wen Zi Ji Lue(文字集略)which written in Southern Dynasties. Illustrate the value of Wamyoruijusho for the collection of ancient lost books in China.Chapter 5:Compile and annotate Si Sheng Zi Yuan(四声字苑) that quoted by Wamyoruijusho, and investigate relation between Si Sheng Zi Yuan(四声字苑)and Yao Yong Zi Yuan(要用字苑)which written by Ge Hong in Jin Dynasty.
