Wu Qian Chronicle

Wu Qian is regarded as a famous book-collector, bibliophile in the Qing Dynasty who was belittled later on,because of his humble social bank.In view of this,the author on this topic.This thesis has made some main tries,on the basis of searching and researching some materials such as collections of essays and poems,local records and other literature records and so on.Firstly,the thesis started from Wu's family trees in order to explain the reason why Wu Qian showed great interests in classical and historical works.Secondly,it aims at transforming the situation of describing Wu roughly and drawing up the first paper about Wu Qian.At the same time,it devotes to inspecting how current affairs in that time,family tradition and teachers and friends etc,have affected Wu. it also pays a close attention to how Wu has taken on effections reversely.At the same time, this paper try to redress some misunderstandings and distortings about Wu,as far as possible according to their available information.Also,it will supply with a relatively complete and reliable information about Wu.
