As one essential part of ancient China's supervisory systems , Jishizhong got a lot of important powers in the past two thousand years . They made important contributions to the consolidation of feudal dynasty and the stability of social order . Jishizhong of the Six Ke decayed in Qing Dynasty . The power of supervise the emperor had been weakened , and powers of supervise chancellors had been strengthened . Because its advice had not been taken seriously , its personnel number had been reduced , and they were busy in supervise chancellors all day . Jishizhong was finally abandoned by history . After checking the facts of its variation and analyzing the reasons , this paper put forwards some useful points to today's supervisory system . Supervision must be rooted in democracy , supervisors should be independent for the monitoring role to be fully played . And Supervision Law must be improved , supervision must track in the law .
