Chinese Promotion By TV Education Program

In the recent years, more and more attention has been paid to Chinese and Chinese culture with the worldwide"Chinese Fever". Many countries open the Chinese courses in the universities, establish Confucius Institute and found primary and secondary Chinese schools to satisfy the learning interest from the people all over the world. In the era of mass communication, modern TV plays an important role of Chinese promotion with its special characteristics like vivid, intuitive and image. The TV-Chinese promotion could not only fulfill the unique ethnic group service functions, but also do great help for international economic and trade cooperation, promoting more harmonious cooperation relationship between China and other countries in political, economic and cultural fields.This paper summarized present situation, advantages and defects in the Chinese teaching TV program as a foreign language during the recent decades, made the analyzation and discussion on the way for improvement, including employees of the basic quality request, for further comprehensive broaden the medium of television in the application field of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, with favorable theory and practice using for reference.This research comprehensively summarized the operation status of teaching Chinese as a foreign language in TV program, providing methods to enhance strong points and to avoid weaknesses to improve the TV program production and operation mode. Our final purpose is the construction of teaching Chinese as a foreign language with Chinese characteristics, giving full play with the TV media, to realize the combination of foreign language education with the humanities exchange, to promote the overall objective understanding from the international society to China.
