| Textbook is a main tool for teaching. It is a carrier based on the curriculum, an important evidence in teaching, and the origin of knowledge acquisition, skill improvement, personality cultivation for students. Many countries over the world are concerned about the education of Chinese, including Korea. As the importance of Chinese is heated day by day, Chinese has become the most welcomed second foreign language. Regardless of the grade, Chinese education has broadly advanced unprecedentedly.The author has selected three commonly used textbooks of [Chinese 1] in most high schools based on the 2007 revised educational curriculum as the object of study. The study is focused on four subjects: communication skill, vocabulary, grammar, culture. On the first chapter, the importance of the study, the present situation and advanced study, contents and method of the study and the range of the study is described. The second chapter mainly focuses on the study about the function of communication. It mainly presents the text scenes of the textbooks and the communication function item and example reflection ratio of the 2007 revised education curriculum. Distribution chart of communication function range of the textbooks is also presented.Distribution of Vocabulary Contents in the Textbook and Reflection Ration in 2007 Revised Education Curriculum, analysis based on [Chinese words and grading syllabus], is presented. In chapter 4, grammar is mainly covered. Grammar contents of each unit and sentence structure is analyzed and analysis of the grammar through the examples in the textbook based on [Chinese level standards and grammar syllabus] is done to consequently point the problems found in the grammar. Chapter 5 handles culture part found in the 2007 revised educational curriculum. Distribution of culture contents in the textbook and reflection ratio in 2007 revised education curriculum is included. In addition sorting of the culture contents is carried out based on Finocchiaro & Bonom and Chastain's culture classification. This paper can provide South Korea high school Chinese textbook has certain referenced effect, thereby promoting Korean high school junior Chinese textbook and the development of Chinese teaching in South Korea.The main idea of this paper is to find the problems found in the Chinese textbooks used in most Korea high schools and as a result, suggest a specific way to effectively solve those problems. |
