Intentional self-regulation plays a very important role in personal development. Gestsdottir (2008) point that self-regulation is the intention to enhance the individual capabilities of individual self-development or optimization goals, and actively coordinate the request of context, the relationship between resources and personal goals during a series of actions. Intentional self-regulation has three major theoretical foundations: SOC theory, control theory and life-long dual-process model of assimilation and conformance.Many of domestic self-regulation researches are revised of existing foreign SOC questionnaire, they use quantitative approach to understand the intentions of the self-regulating characteristics and development trends. These studies mainly aimed at young people, by school age mainly from junior high school, high school and college students to study, there is little studies of vocational students.In this study, 106 students in vocational colleges were interviewed, the interview around three areas: the learning, future career development and self-development. The number of interview questions, with regard to the purpose of intentional self-regulation, planning and initiative of the problem distribution is 4, 5, 1, for a total of 10 issues. For each interviewee, interview time is about 30 minutes.Interviews found that, the students'intentional self-regulation has the following characteristics:First, in academic areas, there are 5 kinds of academic goals: curriculum learning objectives, textbook practice goals, extra-curricular knowledge and learning goals, obtain the certificate goal, enhance the academic goals; in the field of future career development, there are 4 kinds of career development goals: professional counterparts in the industry , not engaged in professional counterparts in industry, own businesses, own businesses after entry; in the field of self-improvement, there are 6 kinds of self-improvement goals: to improve extraversion, expand knowledge and enhance the quality of thinking, improve work and life attitudes, improve interpersonal skills, enhance will quality, improve the external image.Second, the field of vocational college students in academic level of self-regulation of intent can be identified from the five perspectives: goal clarity, motivation within level, plans and richness of the concrete, degree of program implementation and initiative, target aggressive; Future career development level of self-regulation of intent can be identified from three perspectives: goal clarity, plans and richness of the concrete, degree of program implementation and initiative; The field of vocational college students intent of self-improvement the level of self-regulation can be identified from three perspectives: goal clarity, plans and richness of the concrete, program implementation level and initiative.On the basis of the study, researcher discuss the character of purpose, plan and initiative. And propose the future research ideas, that is evaluating the level of intentional self-regulation of 106 vocational college students. After that ,develop a set of program to evaluate the intentional self regulation of vocational students.
