Geomantic Use In The Environment Design

Geomantic Omen theory is concerned as one of three old architecture theories together with gardening theory and construction theory. In China architecture the traditional geomantic omen has been practiced nearly all over site selection, planning design and construction. Throughout the history in geomantic omen, with the present situation and the further trend, it is easy to find that they are closely linked. One of them is the cultural factors. The behavior of people and their way of life and their environment has the close relation. Second it's the technical factors. In the traditional design, because the technology is not developed, in the man-machine platform, man's needs can not being met.On the other side, with the development of technology, people no longer have one's hands tied by technical reasons. Feng shui increasingly by using in design.Along with the social development, person's spending habits; family values and so on have seen tremendous changes, cultural features and development of economy have significant influence to the domestic scene. Then, try to make Feng Shui arrangement for our home and our base to enhance our edge to support as much as possible to our goals in life. Enables it to conform the modern ecology appraisal system, and creates more beautiful homeland is the goal of this dissertation.
