Restore. Meng Yulou Image Interpretation

This paper takes Chinese traditional narratology as its standpoint, using the method of text restoring interpretation, to relate Meng Yulou's three different experiences:her life before entering the XiMeng's, life after entering the XiMeng's and life after Ximeng Qing's death. This paper tries to discuss Meng Yulou's mental state and living state in her life span completely and objectively, thus restore a real Meng Yulou of the text. By doing this, the paper aims at providing a reference for the study of Ximeng Qing, Pan Jinlian and Li Pinger, it also aims at revealing the mental value and art enchantment of Meng Yulou's image in Chinese traditional literature. To study Meng Yulou from the perspective of author's writing intention, she can be regard as a character to show author's "warning" for the world, she also indicates author's moral instruction of "good will be rewarded"; To study Meng Yulou from the perspective of modern standard, she is a woman having enough living wisdom, and make a balance between emotional desire and rationality, individuality and environment. To study Meng Yulou from the perspective of literature history, she displays her complex and profound human nature which are corresponding to her living time and environment, as well as her vivid and stereoscopic personality. She is a charming round-character in Chinese classic literature.
