In our daily communication, we may use the blink of eyes, pie mouth, shook head, waving arms in order to reach the aim of communication. In the 1960s, westerns have done something on gesture and facial expression. In the 1970s, westerns established body kinematics. And then, scholars from different countries put into great enthusiasm, and have achieved remarkable success. Lewis Gordon pointed out, there are more than 1,000 gestures to make the body stable. Eastern and western scholars have done research on the "action" from the table to inner.Using body language in Chinese teaching as a foreign language is very important, and make good use of body language in foreign language teaching may have simulative effect on improving the teaching quality, and active classroom atmosphere. Further speaking, the use of body language for the Chinese around the world has a lot of the spread of promoting effect, therefore, the teacher in the teaching process shall improve their ability of using body language skills, and body language and language about the reasonable used together, better improve the classroom teaching quality. Body language, as a kind of special language phenomenon, is of unique function.It may be functioned as an assistance of language to make the language expression more rich and colorful. What's more, sometimes it may even substitute language itself and therefore serves a kind communicational tool.The paper has four parts:The first part is foreword, elaborate the engender of body language and the relationship of body language and Chinese as a foreign language. The second part is literature review, combed the general research about body language and Chinese teaching as a foreign language.The third part is the body language and Chinese teaching as a foreign language, discuss the function of body language in Chinese teaching as a foreign language.The forth part is the epilogue, put forward study of body language more than one direction, lay the foundation for the future research.
