Carrying out the study of development of children's perception of parental aggressive parenting styles has very important theoretical and practical significance for understanding children's aggressive characteristic, level and influencing factor, choosing good parenting styles as well as the healthy growth of children. However, the studies in this regard at home and abroad are very few. Based on this, referencing a review of relevant research about the domestic and foreign, this study developed children's perception of parental aggressive parenting styles questionnaires and then discussed the preliminary application regarding the two questionnaires. In the questionnaires preparation process, based on the results of open-ended questionnaire, interview, literature review and expert evaluation, this study determined initially the structure of children's perception of parental aggressive parenting styles, and formed the original questionnaires. Then using item analysis and exploratory factor analysis, the formal questionnaires were constructed. Finally, we used another sample to make the confirmatory factor analysis, reliability analysis and correlation analysis, examined the reliability and validity of the formal questionnaires. In this research application part, we carried on the variance analysis, t-test and so on many kinds of methods to the formal questionnaires data, discussed thoroughly the correlations between children's perception of parental aggressive parenting styles and children's aggression, children's perception of parental aggressive parenting styles has the mediating effects in between parental aggression and children's aggression, and the influence of demographic variables on children's perception of parental aggressive parenting styles. The results of the questionnaire of children's perception of paternal aggressive parenting styles were mainly as follows:(1)The questionnaire of children's perception of paternal aggressive parenting styles contains four factors:punishment, demands for aggression toward other children, permissiveness for aggression toward other children, severity of punishment for aggression toward father. The questionnaire consists of 25 items, punishment consists of 8 items, demands for aggression toward other children consists of 6 items, permissiveness for aggression toward other children consists of 7 items, severity of punishment for aggression toward father consists of 4 items.(2)The internal consistency reliability of children's perception of paternal aggressive parenting styles questionnaire is 0.832, the half-split reliability is 0.763. And this questionnaire has good content validity, construct validity and criterion-related validity. This shows the design of this questionnaire is reasonable, and this questionnaire can be used as measurement instrument that measures children's perception of paternal aggressive parenting styles.(3)The children's perception of paternal aggressive parenting styles is significantly related with children aggression.(r=0.541,p<0.01).By regression analysis, the result further show that punishment, demands for aggression toward other children, permissiveness for aggression toward other children that have significant predictive effect on children aggression, but severity of punishment for aggression toward father has not.(4)Paternal aggression has a direct positive effect on children's aggression. And punishment and demands for aggression toward other children partially mediated the relationship between paternal aggression and children's aggression.(5)The level of children's perception of paternal aggressive parenting styles is medium level. The level of children's perception of paternal aggressive parenting styles has significant differences in gender, studies condition, class position, parents' education, hometown, but has not significant differences in grade and whether is single child or not.The results of the questionnaire of children's perception of maternal aggressive parenting styles were mainly as follows:(1)The questionnaire of children's perception of maternal aggressive parenting styles contains four factors:severity of punishment for aggression toward mother, demands for aggression toward other children, punishment, permissiveness for aggression toward other children. The questionnaire consists of 29 items, severity of punishment for aggression toward mother consists of 8 items, demands for aggression toward other children consists of 7 items, punishment consists of 7 items, permissiveness for aggression toward other children consists of 7 items.(2)The internal consistency reliability of children's perception of maternal aggressive parenting styles questionnaire is 0.843, the half-split reliability is 0.754. And this questionnaire has good content validity, construct validity and criterion-related validity. This shows the design of this questionnaire is reasonable.(3)The children's perception of maternal aggressive parenting styles is significantly related with children aggression.(r=0.436,p<0.01).By regression analysis, the result further show that demands for aggression toward other children, punishment that have significant predictive effect on children aggression, but severity of punishment for aggression toward mother and permissiveness for aggression toward other children have not.(4)Maternal aggression has a direct positive effect on children's aggression. And punishment and demands for aggression toward other children partially mediated the relationship between maternal aggression and children's aggression.(5)The level of children's perception of maternal aggressive parenting styles is above the average. The level of children's perception of maternal aggressive parenting styles has significant differences in gender, studies condition, class position, parents' education, but has not significant differences in grade, hometown and whether is single child or not.
