The structure of this thesis is divided into three parts, study on the Chuang Tze's theory of Life, Death and relation between them.The beginning of the thesis started from discussing of originality of Life, then elaborated definitely the relation between Dao and things, Qi and Dao,things and Qi,"Dao"is the laws of nature so that all things are complying with Dao and transforming by themselves following Qi. When lives come into being, by which we interpreted about the philosophy of Life and Death of Chuang Tze. During the epoch of the natural world, freedom of living is native state. However, when it came into the epoch which had not been complying with Dao, people just want to protect their body from outside. Consequently, the saint should politely decline the disposition of the throne and govern by doing nothing that is against nature; Only people hide their usefulness and conform to their own nature they can survived from the troubled times. Maintaining one's body(养形),however, fail to liberate oneself but resort to maintain mental tranquility(养神) which include"to keep silence","to peace and quiet your heart"(心斋),"to sit down and fall into oblivion of your body"(坐忘). When heart is not controlled by something that is not inherent to your nature, you could hold a free and unfettered idea.It is necessary that break the civil conception of Life and Death, only in this way you can fly into the kingdom of freedom. The common people are fearful of dead due to they deem dead as disappearing forever while the man who comply with Dao hold the opposite attitude because they deem dead as going home. How do you know there is no happiness when you are keeping living state, Actually, you are never come into the world of death. For this reason, people should not feel sadness and act on the common customs of funeral when someone has gone. It is no way to interrupt the transformation of life and death on account of they are controlled by fate. Therefore, only following with fate easily, you can without control by outside; or else, you would be imbruted into a slave of extrinsic object and endure more and more suffering. Complying to fate, enjoying your freedom.Actually,the relation between life and death is not really controversial. In terms of the theory of"On Leveling All Things"(齐物论), all things and I are leveling, so there is no distinction between ego and nonego, that's the theory of"losing oneself"(吾丧我) . There is no right and wrong ,no live and die , no waking and dreaming in that Completed Heart-Mind(成心)is vanished, all is emerged into the"Transformation Of Things"(物化) In terms of the theory of Qi, life was born when Qi gathered while life gone when Qi was dissipated. Actually, there is no live or die but only transformation in the whole world. Understanding life and death from the laws of Dao, they transformed from each other, and human life being in a highly harmony with nature.
