Methods To Overcome Europeanization

Europeanization in Chinese language will benefit the Chinese people in their understanding of foreign cultures. The"Europeanization"in this paper refers to the obscure translation caused by the translator's limited knowledge of the English and Chinese languages, cultures and translation techniques. When translating Yoga Calm for Children, the author of the paper applied many translation techniques, such as Conversion, Omission and Reversing to overcome Europeanization and finally refined the translation.
