This dissertation, concerned contemporary Chinese growing up fictions, focuses in the theme about the Cultural Revolution finished from 1990s to now which is different with current study. As the main category of the 20th century's Chinese fictions, the growing up fiction have special growing up themes and discourse in every historical period, so as a very important theme in this century of China, the Cultural Revolution is the main topic and cannot be bypassed in the writers" works. From 1977, so called the New Period, these kind fictions emerged with quantities and high quality, especially in the 1990s, the multicultural period, these fictions have made great success. The most importance is that these fictions have displayed different specialties in the cultural standpoints, the subject matters and narrating styles with the New Period. In the cultural standpoints, the imaginations to the Cultural Revolution and the growing up themes changed from mass memory to the private memory, from taking the Cultural Revolution as the main topic to taking it as a background, from the whole the period the fragments. The protagonists grew up from glory to disillusion. Also, in the the subject matters, most of the protagonists are lost in the sexual imagination facing the sexual topic in their growing up, at the same time, the image of the giant father collapsed. In the styles, the specialties are perspectives from children, female and violence.Formed by the following 5 sections, the preface is about the dissertation's writing reason, intention and study situation inner and abroad, the text" content and the method to study. The first chapter of the text adopts the method forged the history and logic to bird view these fictions including the great changes in the society, culture and literary in the 1990s. The second chapter displays the details about the lost, the father's collapse and the imagination of sex to discuss the subject matters. The third discusses from above-mentioned 3 perspectives. The conclusion is a summary to the dissertation.
