The New Change In The "Cultural Revolution" Narrative Of Literature From The 1990s

"Cultural Revolution" is an important motive of the new period literature. Narrating the "Cultural Revolution" in the new period literature has become an important way of people think and talk the"Cultural Revolution". Since the nineties of last century, some "Cultural Revolution" literary works, showing some new changes which different from the 1980’s "Cultural Revolution" works. This paper has been trying to find some new narrative changes of the "Cultural Revolution" since the 1990’s, and exploring the reasons for the new change, summarize the achievements and shortcomings of "Cultural Revolution" narrative. The aim is in order to fill some gaps in this academic field.This paper chooses some works of fiction since the 1990’s of "Cultural Revolution" which are more in amount and representative. And analyzes the literature since the 1990’s of the "Cultural Revolution" narrative of new changes. These new changes mainly show in three aspects:First is the changes in narrative perspective, the second is the narrative view changes, the third is narrative style changes.The narrative perspective since the 1990’s of "Cultural Revolution" novel towards more diversified, which is reflected in two aspects:First, there was deviation from the mainstream narrative model of "educated youth" perspective, it contains three types of image:the farmers in the perspective of "educated youth" image, the educated youth perspective of "post-educated youth" image and the female perspective in personal writing of "female educated youth". Second is the emergence of narrative perspective of the growing children, which focus on showing children growth in trauma and spiritual pursuits in the "Cultural Revolution".The narrative view since the 1990’s of "Cultural Revolution" novel become more open, which began to face mass daily and folk. From the view of daily life narrative, the "Cultural Revolution" political event receded into the background, daily life shapes the softer atmosphere to replace the tense political atmosphere. Expression of a particular philosophy of life of the times, part of the work also highlights the beauty of human nature. In the Country Folk view of the "Cultural Revolution" novel, they main shows the political immersion under the "Cultural Revolution" village picture, conveying folk tradition and ethics of the political discourse of alienation. The narrative style since the 1990’s of "Cultural Revolution" novel shows a fantastic side, the fiction mainly contains the "hard like water" and the "Gang of Montenegro Fort Kam".These works which narrating the "Sex" and "political" relationship are full of strong absurdity. In the seemingly absurd narratives, it conveys to the deep thinking and sharp irony about the "Cultural Revolution". The most prominent irony are the parole irony and style irony.
