As part of the national human resources, college students are the main force for the development of national economy and a major force in safeguarding national unity. The social adaptation of the college student not only relation to the adaptation of their learning phase, but also related to whether the adaptation into the social role of social change. As the particularity of the national college student, they enter the university will meet various problems that make they not suited to the situation, resulting in psychological distress. New stage of education is a very important position in the university education, and lays a solid foundation for the later stages of learning, so it is very necessary to study the adaptation of the student in national institutions.This research takes the students of the Central University of Nationalities, GuangXi University for Nationalities and National Central University for Nationalities as the object of study, analysis the overall situations of social adaptation of the minority freshman in national institutions and also analysis the gender, ethnicity, matriculate, whether for one child, professional and whether for the class cadre various dimensionality of social adjustment variables and differences.This study by using"Social Adaptation of Minority Freshman Questionnaire"adapted from"Student Social Adaptation questionnaire"that from a paper"Survey of Contemporary Social Adjustment of College student"which writer is Fang Conghui.This research carries on the random sample in view of the adaptation of freshman in the Central University of Nationalities, GuangXi University for Nationalities and National Central University for Nationalities. The study have made 600 copies of questionnaires totally in the three university, including valid samples for 550 copies,then, analysis the survey results by statistics and discuss the findings. The research discovered:1.National freshman meet the social adaptation problems, not adapted proportion is 61.3% .2.National variables and cultural adaption dimension exists significant difference (p=0.000<0.01).Among them,the cultural adjustment condition of the uighurs the best ,second is the Tujia,hui,han ethnic group,other minorities.3.Gender,ethnic and learning adaption dimension exist significant difference.(p=0.004<0.01p=0.010).Among them,the learning adjustment of boys are better than girls,the learning adjustment of the uighurs is the best.4.National, whether for the class cadre variables in interpersonal dimension exists significant difference (p=0.006<0.01 p=0.024<0.05).Among them,Han freshmen in interpersonal dimension adjustment condition are the best,Uighurs in interpersonal dimension adjustment condition is the worst,the freshman without a class cadre in interpersonal dimension adjustment condition are better than the freshman with a class cadre.5.Professional variables in bear setbacks dimension exists significant difference (p=0.006<0.01). Art specialized freshman in the bearing frustration to adapt to new situation are the best, the bearing frustration adaptation of the science is the worst.6.Professional variables in life dimension exists significant difference (p=0.043<0.05). Among them, the life adaptation of the art specialized freshman are the best, the life adaptation of the liberal arts are the worst.7.Whether for the class cadre variables in self-concept exists significant difference (p=0.032<0.05).Among them,the freshman with a class cadre in self-concept adaptation are better than the student without a class cadre.8. Matriculate and whether for the class cadre variables are not exist in every dimension.This article proposes some education measures for freshman in national institutions who can not adapt to the college life, including the following respects:1,Acccording to the freshman can't adapt to the new culture ,national institutions should build material and spiritual level national school characteristics campus culture.2,the new study, national institutions should adopt difference teaching methord,independent learning ideas,good learning methods to guide the freshman.3,Acccording to the freshman can't adapt to the interpersonal interaction, national institutions shoud train the freshman interpersonal skills by the construction of the second classroom strategy.4,Acccording to the freshman bearing frustrations unsuitability, national institutions shoud use setback education,psychological consultation center methods to guide the freshman.5,Acccording to the freshman can't adapt to the new life, national institutions should attach importance to the newborn matriculation work and leisure education to freshman.6,Acccording to the new concept of self unsuitability, national institutions should actively guide freshman self-perception,actively realize correctly to adapt the changing role in college life.
