Shi Shuo Xin Yu Nouns Synonyms Research

Synonymous relationship is a special word aggregation relationship, the composition of aggregation synonyms presents a different aspect in different times and by different authors. Synonyms in ancient Chinese monographs reflect the cognition and ideological activities in a certain era. The distribution and the relationship between members in polymerization embody the characteristics of vocabulary system in that era.According to the method of observing synonyms in the context of the original, the thesis determines noun synonyms in each chapter in<Shi Shuo Xin Yu>, discriminates the synonyms, and analysis the differences between synonyms. The preface gives a brief introduction to the<Shi Shuo Xin Yu> and to the study of it, and describes several basic issues in ancient Chinese synonyms study, such as the definition of synonyms, the methods of identification synonyms and the ones of discrimination of synonyms. And then tries to explain noun synonyms in<Shi Shuo Xin Yu>. Finally, the thesis analysis the differences of noun synonyms in classification, which helps people understand the outlook of vocabulary in Wei,jin and Southern and Northern Dynasties, which also gives document literature language materials after organization for the study of middle ancient monograph. And meanwhile, on the basis of the work mentioned above, from the process of the explanation of noun synonyms in<Shi Shuo Xin Yu>, mis-collection of semantics and wrong explanations to them can be found in "Shishuo xinyu Dictionary ", which helps us further improve the monograph dictionary.
