Research On The Temperature Sensation Adjectives Between Korean And Chinese

The thesis is written to understand the feeling-adjectives in both Korean and Chinese in the modern period and among that, the research is about the Temperature Sensation Adjectives which belongs to feeling-adjectives, and it is also about an analytic research of semantic similarities and differences of TSA between Korean and Chinese in a semantic view point of language.It was firstly analyzed in detail on every TSA's fundamental and original meaning and their variously corresponding forms between Korean and Chinese, then it went through the modality of the expanded meaning of TSA.Through this study researcher could compare and distinguish between the Similarity and difference of TSA in the two countries as in comparing the five senses that are ecological in human life. Researcher also aimed to give a little help to people who learn the two languages.In the 1st part it was written to review the purpose and significance as well as subject and range of feeling-adjectives which is a superordinate concept of TSA and survey existing study before researching on them.In the 2nd part it is written that TSO is a subordinate type of haptic-adjectives which belongs to feeling-adjectives as defining and classifying FOTA in detail. On the basis of that concept we go through the lists, understand them and classify haptic-adjectives and FOTO through results of precedent study.And in the 3rd part is the most important part of the whole thesis-the core. The idea was to consider the basic meaning of FOTA between Korean and Chinese and divide it into the type of the cold and heat sense. Then it was also to list and describe the corresponding modalities and examples in the dictionary and literary work.After I gave a careful consideration to the basic meaning in the 3rd part. In the 4th part it examined the corresponding modality of a semantic change about the matter that signification is expanded or changed through meaning and metaphors of TSA between the two countries.In conclusion, In the 5th it gives two main results to the semantic characters of TSA in the two languages based on the results of research-similarity and difference by meanings. Until now, there are still only few resear ches on the analysis or TSA thing and (?)imi tation and inadequacy in this research. (?)ere, however, the writer hope to help the researchers In the two countries. In addition the writer is also expecting to study the related field harder and then research the same field more intensely.
