The Research On The Thunder Of Dao Fa Hui Yuan

The period of Song and Yuan dynasties is an important stage in the development of Taoism, especially the amulet school. Many new factions come forth during this period, which played an important role in the political, economic and society field. To understand the later development of the Daoism, these factions can not be ignored. Thunder amulet is the embodiment of this stage. A number of famous priests appeared, and a large number of Thunder amulet-based treatise of the Taoism come into being. From these work we can research the different stages of the development of Daoism, in particular, the history of Daoism Talisman in the Song and Ming Dynasties.Dao fa hui yuan is a very important classics literature of the Daoism. It embodies almost all the works of the factions during the Song and Yuan dynasties. The Thunder Amulet is the main part, supplemented by a large number of Talisman amulet and abracadabra. It explains the practice of methods and characteristics of each school, including the practice content, symbol pattern, sort and function, factions of deities, etc. it gives us a useful way for a comprehensive understanding of the detailed information. Moreover, the Thunder Amulet also recorded the succession relationship and many famous priests' personal biography of the main school, such as the Shenxiao school,Qingwei school.This paper focus on the amulets of the Dao fa hui yuan. By the structure analyzing, combined with graphics, some conclusions of the composition of the general rules of Taoism amulet can be draw, which may eliminate people's superstition on the Taoism amulet. We know, the Daoism amulet embodies abundance meaning, the relationship between them and traditional philosophy,culture and the arts is complicated. Why is the Thunder Amulet thriving in a particular period? In this paper, some reasons were given. Choosed the elite of all specialists in a certain field,the thunder was caused itself systematization and theoretics, suited the social demand at that time. Meanwhile, succession relationship of the schools involved in the Dao fa hui yuan was discussed. From this, we can understand better the development of the Daoism during that period. The compilation time of the book is also a problem, it should be 1403 to 1427. Finally, the status of the Dao fa hui yuan in the history was summed up.
