The logo of tv station belongs to the important part of the construction of the tv station brand as a signal, the rationality of its design influences the reception of tv station image by viewers. At the present, the tv industry is prosperous, the competition between different tv stations becomes more and more cruelty, the logo design has been received more and more attention. There is a notable phenomena has been noticed that the designer bring more attention in bringing region culture elements in tv station logo design as to show strong region culture characters in logo design, which could be favor by viewers..The comprehensive reduction and analysis of the tv station logo has not been reported until now. In this paper, the author combined the region culture with the design of tv logo, reinforced and prefected the reseach in tv station logo using the interdisciplinary knowledge. described the heart status and the importance for transmission value of the tv station logo in tv brand though the basic definition of the tv brand. Through the horizontal and vertical contrastive analysis for the tv station in and out of china respectively, the relationship between region culture and logo and the meaning of region culture in tv logo design were been researched ,the future development of logo design was been discussed.The paper includes five parts. In the first chapter, the background, meaning, present condition for research and the research methods was been shown. In second chapter, the paper analyzed the relationship between the brand and tv brand, the situation and function of logo in tv brand. In third chapter, the formation, element and visual esthetics character was researched and emphasized the great meaning of tv station logo design through the inspiration from the research in relationship between the logo and region culture. In forth chapter, the law of tv station logo design was induced and summed up from three aspects including the principle, way and expression of the logo design. The future and trend of pan - folklore and dynamicity development of tv station design was discussed in final chapter.
