Applying memory principle can promote the learner's memory efficiently. Based on this premise, the study selected college English online course as a case, under the instruction of effective learning memory principle to discuss the feasiblity of improving learner's memory in online course information representation.This study described the basic theory of memory and analyzed the learning effect of online course information representation. By explicit the influence factors of memory effect, taken the college English course as the case, the online course was developed and implemented a test of the effects. Durring the process of test, the questionnaire was made on memory effects of college English online course, and according to concrete study content, it had a design work to examine the effect of learners' memory and collected some concrete materials which related to learning and memory in online course. Through theoretical summaries and testing results, the main conclusions were as follows:1. On the basis of the theoritic study, it proposed these memory priciples which guided the designs of online course information representation;2. Taken the college English courses for an example, it illustrated the specific content of the program and the online courses design;3. Through of the test memory effect, it reflected the advantages of this online course to promote learner memory, and verified the effectiveness which was in memory principles combining with college English online courses information representation.
