| The development of the Internet has brought great changes to people’s life,especially the emergence of social networking sites,which has changed people’s life model to a certain extent.At the same time,the Internet has also become a research hotspot in various disciplines.In recent years,the field of psychology has begun to see the positive aspects of Internet use and to strengthen the research on the positive behaviors of Internet use.This study is to investigate the relation between motivation s for SNSs use and online altruistic behaviors and its mechanism.700 college student users of social networking sites(such as Weibo,WeChat Friend Circle,QQ Space)were randomly surveyed for their motivations for SNSs use,online altruistic behaviors,online social supports and online interpersonal trust.In this study,Mplus7.4 was used to bulid the structural equation,and the results showed that the fitting results were ideal.The results showed that,(1)motivations for SNSs use positively predicted online altruistic behaviors;(2)online social supports had a mediation effect between motivations for SNSs use and online altruistic behaviors;(3)online social supports and online interpersonal trust had a chain mediation between motivations for SNSs use and online altruistic behaviors.These results indicated that individuals’ motivations for SNSs use could not only pomote online altruistic behaviors through online social supports,but also further increased online interpersonal trust and then affected online altruistic behaviors. |
