Discussion On The Teaching Model In TCSL Elementary Oral Class Of JXNU

As we all acknowledge that oral teaching is thought as quite a critical and significant part in teaching Chinese as a second language. As the consistent update of teaching methods in TCSL, the oral class teaching models are diverse. Different teaching model produce different teaching effects. Nowadays there are still some problems exist in the oral class with the traditional teaching model. How to change the teaching situation, improve the teaching quality, cultivate the students' communicative ability by using different kinds of teaching methods properly is the aim we work on.On the first hand, we had a talk with some overseas students and oral teachers, summarizing their views and points about the oral teaching model and analysing the problems which may happened in the oral class; on the other hand, we followed and observed the oral class teaching in Jiangxi Normal University to describe the different teaching model. Then, analysing their advantages and disadvantages.Lastly , in order to improve the students' oral communication skill efficiently and create lively class atmosphere, the author promote to use ESA teaching model which contains the merits of the 3P and TBLT . We hope it will be helpful to the oral class of TCSL in JXNU.
