| ShuoWenJieZi written by Xushen in Donghan Dynasty is a very important exegetics monograph in Chinese ancient times. In this book, Xushen made a thorough interpretation on the form and meaning of the Chinese characters, which made it not only become a monograph about philology and exegetics, but also have extensive culture value. This article chooses one aspect of its vocabulary——construction words to study. By describing and analyzing these words, construct character system and vocabulary system of construction words. This article is divided into three parts:First, the author defines the construction words in ShuoWenJieZi and the scope of the construction words. At the same time, author analyses research situation, theories, ways and values.Second, this article constructs character system of construction words through form feature, configurational basis and culture information. Chinese character is a system called picture symbol. This symbol discusses form symbol's function in form feature according to principle which chooses related to things. By comparing Jia guwen (inscriptions on bones or tortoise shells) of the Shang Dynasty, Jin wen(inscriptions on ancient bronze objects), Xiao zhuan(an ancient style of calligraphy, adopted in the Q in Dynasty for the purpose of standardizing the Chinese script ) in order to understand topography motivation and culture information.Third, we understand thoroughly semantic characteristic by analyzing and classifying construction words in order to construct vocabulary system of construction words. The article classifies these words according to meanings again by making a through statistics and analysis in these words. All these words divided into three parts, at the same time, it can subdivide more parts. This article explains every part's words and analyses relation between character shelf meaning and vocabulary meaning. |
