With economy development, people begin to treasure the spiritual fulfillment. That "how realize a life with well-being and dignity" have been concerned by more people. The purpose was to investigate the public view of dignifying the human condition. People's dignity refers to a state of being respected, and the view of dignity is the public view of dignifying the human condition.Based on summarizing the documents, the investigation of open-ended questionnaire, individual interview and discussing with psychological experts,6 dimensions were designed which were self acceptance, others acceptance, self actualization, higher moral level, protecting rights, material foundation, and money & status, social environment. Initial questionnaire were developed. 450 participants were tested with the preliminary questionnaire, which was modified to form the re-test questionnaire by item analysis and exploratory factor analysis. The formal questionnaire included 46 test items and 5 dimensions, namely self value, money & status, moral, rights protected and social environment. Confirmatory factor analysis of 1302 data demonstrated that the construct validity of the questionnaire was good. At the same time reliability and validity were examined. Then characteristics of the views of dignity were examined on participants of different age, gender, trade, education level, growth backgrounds and family incomes, Results showed that:(1) Questionnaire of views of dignity was a multi-dimensional model, consisted of 46 items and 5 dimensions (self value, money & status, moral, rights protected and social environment).(2) Questionnaire of views of dignity had good reliability and validity and can be used as an effective measurement of people's views of dignity.(3) There were significant differences among participants of different ages, genders, careers, education levels, growth backgrounds and family incomes in the 5 dimensions. Male scored more than female in money & status dimension. Participants who aged above 25 scored more than others in money & status, moral, rights protected and social environment. Participants with higher family income scored more in both money & status and moral. There were significant differences in some dimensions among participants of different education levels and careers.
