Transfusion transmitted virus was found by using RDA (Representational differencr analysis) method when detecting the serum for a58year-old Japanese transfused patients in1997. This virus was called TTV (Torque teno virus) by the name of hepatitis patient, which was also known as the symplectic virus. This paper focus on investigation, analysis and evaluation of blood transfusion transmitted virus epidemiology and its genotype of patients with thyroid and pig in Kunming, which provides the basis for further study. As to the study of human transfusion transmitted virus, the samples were taken from the People's Liberation Army General Hospital of Kunming, nuclear medicine department with a total of serum of patients300cases, including three categories(the thyroid functions well in normal population, TM and TG values in patients with elevated and the hyperthyroid patients). We found that infection rate of young people was less than infection rate of middle-aged or elderly people, male prevalence rate is higher than female's, type of infection focuses on G1, G2and G3type of genetype group I and mixed infection, the common G4type and G5type were not found here. The largest proportion was G2type, the mixed infection and G1+G2type as well. According to the medical records of patients, we found that there was not enough evidence of a disease is accompanied by a specific genetype or gene subtypes. As to the porcine transfusion transmitted virus, samples came from the downtown of Kunming city and Chenggong County nearby. They are serum, tissue (including the spleen, liver) coming from different gender and ages of healthy pigs, slaughter pigs with some specific diseases. The results shows that, the detection rate is very low compared with the previous data presented in other related results. Type land Type2and mixed type of infection were presented, suggesting that baby porcine infection rate was significantly lower than that of adult pigs. There is no particular relationship with genotype infections and intended sorts of porcine. The total experimental results provide help to having better understanding of transfusion transmitted virus prevalence and genotype from human and porcine in Kunming. It also helps to enrich the sources of information in this respect for upcoming research, especially for exploring its vaccine after a series of future experiments.
