Objective:Prospectively enrolled384cases of acute myocardial infarction patients treated with Integrative method of TCM and WM in9hospitals in China from January1,2009to31March2011. By systemically collecting and mining the clinical information, to study the treatment law of acute myocardial infarction,to supply further evidence for the establishment of TCM comprehensive prevention and treating programs for, acute myocardial infarction. Methods:Prospectively enrolled384cases of acute myocardial infarction patients treated with Integrative method of TCM and WM from January1,2009to31March2011.in9hospitals in China as followings:Xiyuan Hospital of China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Ministry of Health-Japan Friendship Hospital, Beijing Integrative Medicine Hospital, Beijing Chinese Medicine Hospital, Capital University of Medical Beijing Anzhen Hospital, Fu Wai Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, the Second Affiliated Hospital of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of Traditional Chinese Medicine Research Institute.Systemically collecting the clinical information, such as patients'age, gender, diagnosis, treatment, TCM syndrome, use of Western medicine, tongue and pulse changes, etc. By statistical analysis, to study the TCM treatment law of AMI.Results:A total of384AMI patients, average age62±13.76years; among them>60years old of age for218people, ratio to56.77%. More than half of hospitalized patients with AMI are elderly patients,35.15%patients in the41to60-year-old middle age; in patients with acute myocardial infarction is more common in male patients,293cases of male patients, accounting for76.3%, and91cases of female patients, accounting for23.7%, to female ratio was3.2:1.In this study, the frequency of tongue fur from more to less sequence are greasy, white fur, thin moss, yellow, thick, less moss, crack moss; tongue color is followed by dark red, dark, dark and pale, red, light red dark purple, and pale. In284cases with pulse recordings, wiry pulse if the most, accounting for55.79%, followed by the veinlets, accounting for42.81percent, smooth pulse (31.58%), deep pulse (26.67%), the number of clock (9.82%), astringent pulse (5.96%), weak pulse, statement generation pulse (4.56%). The frequency of TCM Syndrome elements in patients with AMI is as the following order:blood stasis,324times, accounting for88.52%, phlegm,188-times, accounting for51.36%, qi deficiency,141times, accounting for38.52%, Yin deficiency46cases, accounting for12.57%, Yang deficiency28cases, accounting for7.65%, qi stagnation21cases, accounting for5.74%, phlegm heat17cases, accounting for4.64%,blood deficiency2cases, accounting for0.55%.Other syndromes elements are pathogenic cold, hot toxic, water drink, etc., totally accounting for0.27%.A total of329cases of patients is subjected with anti-platelet drugs, accounting for95.09%, followed by270cases of heparin-type drugs, accounting for78.03%, beta-blockers253cases,accounting for73.12%,nitrates228cases,accounting for65.9%, angiotensin-con-verting enzyme inhibitors (ACEI/ARB)189cases, accounting for54.62%, the CCB drugs30cases, accounting for8.67%.A total of351patients received traditional Chinese medicine injection therapy, such as Shuxuening injection of120(34.19%), Danhong injection of115(32.76%), thrombus injection107(30.48%), Shengmai Injection102(29.06%). In patent Chinese medicine use,, Maren Runchang pill, compound liquorice tablets Tongxinluo capsule, Qi Rong Runchang Oral Liquid, hemp seed soft capsule are commonly used. In decoction of Chinese medicine use, Yugengtongyu tang is the most frequently used41(27.52%), then is Gualouxiebaibanxia tang,31(20.81%),Taohongsiwu Tang19(12.75%),Shengmaisan18(12.08%), Guanxinerhao tang.11(7.38%).Conclusion:The results of this study are in consistent with the previous researches:AMI patients are generally occurred in elderly, more males than females, and male AMI incidence trends to the younger. TCM excess syndromes mainly consisting of,blood stasis, phlegm are more than the deficiency ones such as qi deficiency and Yin deficiency, Anti-platelet, anticoagulant, ACEI/ARB, beta blockers, nitrates and dilation of blood vessels as a standardized treatment of AMI has been in extensive clinical application. Traditional Chinese medicine injection and proprietary Chinese medicines in AMI treatment can improve symptoms and prognosis. We should further strengthen the clinical research of Chinese medicine to participate in the AMI treatment.
