The treatment group was assigned to two types: excess with 22 patients and deficiency with 25 patients, the control group has 21 patients. The treatment group therapy: the four types of abdominal post-operative patients will be treated with the corresponding Chinese medicine and with the differentiation to add and subtract besides the general treatment; Dosing method:a dose of 200ml Chinese medicine thick Fried a day.feeding every morning and evening respectively from gastric tube into 50ml, release afte 1 h, or take orally,in addition 50ml retention enema. Withdrawal as the anus bowel exhaust. Observe and compare the time of pass gas(or exhaust) and defecation. Make a telephone interview to know the occurrence situation of intestinal obstruction 1,2,3or 6 months later after surgery. Results 1. The occurrence of intestinal obstruction of the treatment group is obviously lower than the control group after operation, the rate respectively is 4.26% and 9.52%;2.The treatment group's time of pass gas and defecation has a significant difference compare with the control group (p<0.01);3. There is no significant difference in the treatment group (p>0.05). Conclusion 1. The integrated treatment of TCM-WM can work effectively in preventing the occurrence of Earlypostoperative intestine obstruction, it has better effect than the west medicine control group and is most lower than reported on the literature, which showed that 10%-40% patients has intestinal obstruction after surgery.2. The theory of differentiation and treatment in TCM is very important in preventing the early postoperative intestinal obstruction.
