| Objective:To investigation the clinical value of the serum levels of hot shock protein70(HSP70) in the aged patients with cardiac functional insufficiency.Methods: Eighty patients with cardiac functional insufficiency and twenty control subjects were investigated by measuring the serum HSP70, the left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) and left ventricular end diastolic diameter (LVEDd). Patients with cardiac functional insufficiency were divided into four groups, including I group,IIgroup, III group,IV group.Results:The serum HSP70levels and LVEDd in aged patients with cardiac functional insufficiency were markedly higher than those of control subjects (t=8.55,10.28, P<0.05). LVEF in aged patients with cardiac functional insufficiency were lower than those of control subjects (t'=10.40, P<0.05). There was no significant difference of HSP70between I class and control subjects (q=2.14, P>0.05). There was significant difference of HSP70among other classes (q=3.03～25.92, P<0.01-0.05). The serum HSP70level of IV class was higher than III class, II class, I class (F=115.25, q=11.12～23.78, P<0.05) The serum HSP70level of III class was higher than II class, I class (F=115.25, q=9.64～14.80, P<0.05). The serum HSP70level of II class was higher than I class (F=115.25, q=3.02～5.16, P<0.05). There was significant difference of LVEF and LVEDd among all classes (q=4.50～28.66,4.42～21.83, P<0.01). The level of HSP70in aged patients with cardiac functional insufficiency was negatively correlated with LVEF (rs=—0.8323, P<0.01).The level of HSP70in aged patients with cardiac functional insufficiency was positively correlated with LVEDd (rs=0.7722, P<0.01)Conclusion:The increase of HSP70levels is closely correlated with the severity of cardiac functional insufficiency, as well as the function of left ventricular. HSP70has significant clinical value on the diagnosis and treatment of the aged patients with cardiac functional insufficiency. |
