Objective : To investigate the clinical features and echocardiograhy characteristics of NVM in patients, improve clinicians awareness of NVM.Methods: We retrospectively reviewed 68 patients with NVM,which were in the First People's Hospital of Chenzhou since January 2011 to December 2016.The patient's age,sex smoking and drinking history, family history, onset symptoms,New York Heart Association cardiac function classification,ECG,X-ray chest and treatment were respectively counted and analyzed. The left ventricular end diastolic diameter, left atrium diameter, left ventricular ejection fraction and plasma NT-pro BNP were respectively counted.According to the American Heart Association recommendations,3 groups were divided by the number of noncompaction myocardial segments,In the end,we analyzed and discussed it.Results:In this study a total of 68 patients,52 males and 16 females, male to female ratio of 3.25: 1,aged from 19 to 81 years,an average of(56.1±16.5)years old.Clinical manifestations are highly variable.Patients often present with a spectrum of disease severity ranging from cardiac arrhythmias to cardiac failure,thromboembolism.24 patients had a history of smoking and 18 cases of drinking history. One patient is family case. The most common onset symptoms were chest tightness and shortness of breath,10 cases in class II New York Heart Association,44 cases were in class III and 5 cases in class IV.All patients underwent ECG examination and 65 patient's ECG showed abnormal.64 cases accepted x-ray examination and 46 cases showed enlarged hearts in various degrees.(1)The mean level of LVEDD were increased as in grade 1 group was(52.8 ± 5.5)mm,in grade 2 group was(56.3 ± 5.0)mm,in grade 3 group was(61.1± 6.8)mm.all P<0.05.(2)The mean level of LAD were increased as in grade 1 group was(39.5 ± 5.0)mm,in grade 2 group was(43.2 ± 3.4)mm,in grade 3 group was(49.6 ± 6.8)mm.all P<0.05.(3)The mean level of LVEF were decreased as in grade 1 group was(51.5 ± 10.3)%,in grade 2 group was(45.1 ± 6.8)%,in grade 3 group was(36.3 ± 8.1)%.all P<0.05.(4)The mean level of NT-pro BNP were increased as in grade 1 group was(1836.9 ±1200.2)pg /ml,in grade 2 group was(3748.4 ± 1748.3)pg /ml,in grade 3 group was(5450.6 ± 1576.9)pg/ml.all P<0.05.In NVM,the number of myocardial segments were positively correlated with NT-pro BNP(r=0.637,P< 0.05),LAD(r=0.583,P<0.05),LVEDD(r=0.381,P< 0.05),and negatively correlated with LVEF(r=-0.347,P< 0.05).Conclusion:1.Noncompaction of ventricular myocardium clinically rare, low incidence, with heart failure, arrhymia and thromboembolism the main clinical manifestation,The most common onset symptoms were chest tightness and shortness of breath.2.With the segment of left ventricular myocardium increasement, the level of NT-pro BNP,left atrium diameterand left ventricular end diastolic diameter increased but the left ventricular ejection fraction decreased.
