Objectives: Comparative observation of guided bone tissue regeneration capacity and characteristics of two kinds of biofilm, Which is used in dog mandibular defect for guided bone regeneration. It can provide experimental basis for clinical bone defect repair .Materials and methods: Select the health of four mongrel dog with 12-16 mouth old as the experimental object. Under general anesthesia in its side of the upper third of the mandibular bone nearly the mandibular ramus followed by the formation of three 5mm and 10mm diameter and the depth of the hole-shaped bone defect, 2mm distance between holes, respectively to the three holes in the active materials implanted in bone induction(Bio-oss) .Then in the bone defect covered by the order 12×12mm of membrane (BEGO Collagen Membrane) as a Group A, Coverage of 12×12mm alginate - Chitosan membrane as the B group, no treatment group as a C.Put the biofilm placed under the periosteum then suture. Execute the animal after 2 weeks, 4 weeks, 6 weeks, 8 weeks. Then remove mandibular and do the clinical inspects, X-ray examination, histological examination and analysis. Results: 1 General observation and imageology observation :Experimental animals no deaths ,In the first week, the cut not healed completelyd and the surgery area are neither purulent nor split.In the two weeks,the incision already basic healing incision, but it remain visible mark. In the four weeks the mucosa colour and lustre are normal and the original wound has healing. A group and B group fade granulation tissue of bone defect after operation in 6 weeks, healing of the defect has been formed, but have not been completely smooth, dense. However Group C has not formation of bone wound, Can still see the hole-type defect , 0.5cm in diameter bone Design Center of the soft zone.X-ray observation: : the hole of three bone are more easy to determine, One side of no membrane are clearer than the sideof cover membrane . In the four weeks, all specimens have obvious defect area.The defection has uniform bone chi image, edge slightly higher bone density. With the extension of time, bone hole and normal bone gradually combined.2 Electron microscopic observationThe two sides of composite membrane are roughness inconsistencies.the roughness larger side is benefit of bone cells,and the side of roughness of smaller against cell attached with a to prevent gum fibrosis.3. Biopsy tissue morphological observationIn the second week, membrane structure basic integrity. Edges and surrounding tissues have fusion, group A and B increased bone cells, small amounts of inflammatory cells infiltration. The new group C bone is not obvious mainly by fibrous connective tissue.In the fourth week the ossification result of A group was better than B group. In the sixth and eighth week the disparity of A group and B group's ossification result was not significant, C group was lower than A and B groupConclusion:1 Whether it cover membrane bone defect eventually healing.2 Sodium alginate - chitosan membrane can play the good barrier around3 Sodium alginate - chitosan membrane guided bone regeneration with BEGO collagen membrane of adult bone area were no statistically significant difference.
