Objective:To discuss the risk factors for preterm delivery(PTD) and their mode of delivery and perinatal impact. Methods:Our study included 268 PTD cases in the first affiliated hospital of SooChow University from January to December in 2010(PTD group),and 268 term delivery cases that drew randomly at the same time(control group). We used univariable and multivariable logistic regression procedures to analyze factors between the two groups by SARS software, such as age, pregnancy times, delivery times, the history of abortion, prenatal care, premature rupture of membrances (PROM), hypetensive disorders complicating pregancy, placental abruption, placenta previa, multiple pregnancy.abnomal fetal position, uterine factors, intraheptic cholestasis of pregnancy(ICP), polyhydramnios, oligohydramnios, gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM),HELLP syndromes, fetal growth restriction(FGR), pregnancy with medical or surgical diseases, mode of delivery, the birth weight and incidence rate of asphyxia of newborn.Taking P<0.05 statistical significance. Results:PTD group and control group compared to the situation in general:age in the two groups has no significant diffeence(P>0.05);patients with a history of pregnancy or abortion, multipara, without prenatal care whose incidence of PTD are higher, the difference is significant (P<0.05). Comparison of risk factors:PROM, hypetensive disorders complicating pregancy, placental abruption, placenta previa, multiple pregnancy, abnomal fetal position, uterine factors, ICP, pregnancy with medical or surgical diseases on the impact of the two groups are significantly different(P<0.05). and polyhydramnios, oligohydramnios, GDM,HELLP syndromes, FGR on the impact of the two groups have no significant diffenence(P>0.05).The impact of mode of delivery: cesarean section rate of the two groups is significantly different(P<0.05).The perinatal impact:the low birth weight and incidence rate of asphyxia of newborn between the two groups are significantly different(P<0.05).The risk factors for contact:PROM,multiple pregnancy are independent risk factors for PTL(P<0.05).Conclusion:PROM,multiple pregnancy are independent risk factors for PTL(P<0.05). A history of pregnancy or abortion, multipara, without prenatal care, hypetensive disorders complicating pregancy, placental abruption, placenta previa, multiple pregnancy, abnomal fetal position, uterine factors, ICP, pregnancy with medical or surgical diseases are risk factors of PTL.The cesarean section rate of PTL group is significantly higher. The low birth weight and incidence rate of asphyxia of newborn in PTL group are significantly higher.
