| Objective:To investigate the expressions of Cripto-1, E-cadherin,β-catenin and vime ntin in ovarian tumor, their relationship with pathologic factors, survival time in patients. To further investigate ovrian setouss adenocarcinoma genesis and the role of EMT in it. To provide a new laboratory evidence of ovrian setouss adenocarcinoma.Methods: The expressions of Cripto-1, E-cadherin,β-catenin, and vimentin, in 20 cases of ovrian serous adenoma, 30 cases of ovrian borderline serous tumor, and 60 cases serous adenocarcinoma, were detected by immunohistochemistry method.Results: The expression of Cripto-1 in ovrian adenocarcinoma and borderline serous tumor were 76.67%(46/60)and 56.67%(17/30)respectively, higher than that in serous adenoma ( 20%,4/20 ) . The expression of Cripto-1 in ovrian adenocarcinoma was correlated with pathologic stage and lymph node metastasis (p<0.05), and the positive expression of Cripto-1 in ovrian adenocarcinoma with postoperative 5year survial rate was 19.6%,compared with negative expression (50%)was decreased significantly ,and the survival time was shortened. The expression of E-cadherin in ovrian adenoma were 90%(2/20), higher than that in ovrian adenocarcinoma (35%,21/60) and borderline serous tumor(53%,16/30).The expression of E-cadherin in ovrian adenocarcinoma was correlated with pathologic stage (p<0.05),but not with lymph node metastasis . The expression ofβ-catenin in the plasma of ovrian adenocarcinoma were 80%(48/60), higher than that in serous adenoma 30%(6/20),and not correlate with pathologic stage and lymph node metastasis (p<0.05).The expression of Cripto-1 negatively correlated with E-cadherin(r=-0.752, p<0.05) and positively correlated with vimentin (r=0.405, p<0.05) in ovrian sereous adenocarcinoma.Conclusions:1.The expression of Cripto-1 in ovrian adenocarcinoma was correlated with pathologic stage and lymph node metastasis , and the positive expression with postoperative 5 year survial rate in ovrian adenocarcinoma was decreased ,compared with negative expression.;The low expression of E-cadherin in ovrian adenocarcinoma was correlated with pathologic stage; The expression ofβ-catenin in the plasma of ovrian adenocarcinoma were higher than that in serous adenoma; The expression of Cripto-1 andβ-catenin in the plasma was incressed , E-cadherin was descresed, the results might be associated with development, invasive, metastasis of ovrian sereous adenocarcinoma, and used as one of the prognosis sign.2. The expression of Cripto-1 negatively correlated with E-cadherin and positively correlated with vimentin in ovrian sereous adenocarcinoma, the result suggested that Cripto-1, E-cadherin,β-catenin might be play a role in part of the process of invasion and metastasis in ovrian sereous adenocarcinoma by EMT. |
