Objective:1. Identify the relationship between intestinal flora and diabetes by the comparison the intestinal flora between the normal and the diabetic patients.2. Analysis the association between the intestinal flora and diabetes duration.3. Analysis the association between the intestinal flora and the FPG, to investigate the interaction of the intestinal flora and the development of diabetes, to supply diabetes with new thinking and strategy. Methods:Intestinal flora detection by cultures, compared 18 type 2 diabetes with 10 non-diabetes.Results:1. There has been a significant changes between diabetic group and the normal group. The number of Enterobacterium, Enterococcus, Fusobacterium, Veillonella and Staphylococcus are higher than normal group, in which Staphylococcus changes has a significant differences(P<0.05). Yeast, streptococcus, Bacteroides, Lactobacillus, Peptococcus and Bifidobacterium compared with the normal group there was a downward trend, Bacteroides and Bifidobacteria changes significantly(P<0.05).2. With the course of disease, Enterobacterium,Bacteroides and Veillonella was increasing; Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium decreased; yeast, Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Enterococcus, Fusobacterium and Peptococcus did not change significantly. Although the number of bacteria on the course of the disease and intestinal flora can see the trend, but because of the limited number of each group and the number of bacteria population changed greatly, so changes are not significant.3. There was a negative correlation between Bifidobacterum and FPG, which has a statistical significance. Conclusion:1. There has been a significant changes between diabetic group and the normal group.2. The change between the course of the disease and intestinal flora are not significant..3. There was a negative correlation between Bifidobacterum and FPG.
