Therefore, researchers try find the perspective of those spinal cord injury patiens, wish to understand the life difficulties and problems of life adaptation, and try to response to the difficulties and problems.Methods Using SPSS 10.0 for data processing and statistical analysis, statistical methods included descriptive statistics (percentage, mean).Results In this study, from the basic properties, disease characteristics, home and public environment and use of assistive device and transport, researcher find the following:high incidence of male, female incidence increased year by year; the injured main education level is junior high school; most of injured are married, it is noteworthy that divorced spinal cord injury patients are all divorced after injury; 90% of them have religion belief; 40% percent of them are cervical spinal cord injury (quadriplegia),there is a rising trend; The time of injury accounted more than 10 years for 70% of them. In recent years, the medical treatment for spinal cord injury have great progress. Causes of spinal cord injury in a car accident is maximum, followed work injuries, cancer and diseases. Injury had occurred in the road is maximum, following is the workplace, home; fully lying on bed were up 6%,67% of them rely on wheelchairs. Obviously, spinal cord injury caused the severity of motor and mobility; The results showed that home barrier-free environment need to be improved now, home environment, the most inconvenience is bathroom, followed by the stairs; professional intervention in home barrier-free environment is not enough; Large gap between the levels of community accessibility, satisfaction with some community are good, but some are very dissatisfied; Most spinal cord injury patients are dependent on wheelchairs, Presence weakness in mobility and transportation, and when they go outside, mostly dependent by the family or asking others to pick, no one is free to take a bus, show the public transportation of the disabled generally lack, in particular bus to be improved. It should be lead in low-floor buses for wheelchair users to sit in a wheelchair to up and down the bus; The most troubled for going outside:first the traffic is too disorderly, followed by environmental barriers, and then followed by lack of adequate transportation; disabilities using public transportation and facilities still appear difficulty.Conclusions①High incidence of male,40% percent of them are cervical spinal cord injury trend.②Home barrier-free environment is rare, the most inconvenience is bathroom, followed by the stairs.
